John 6

So, today I decided I would go with the crowd that has been following Jesus around. The guy resurrectified me, I was pretty curious to see what else he might do. I followed him and the crowd around for awhile, and he did a lot of talking. He said some interesting things, but I am not going to lie, when it got toward the end, I was having a hard time paying much attention. I was starving. Mother has not been able to find time for me ever since I was dead a few days ago. She did not make me breakfast this morning. I had to share a lunch with Jacob from down the street. He is slow, but he was nice enough to give me food. I will try to remember him in my will for when I die again. Jesus stopped talking after awhile, and then I started to hear different people complain about how hungry they were. I could not blame them. My stomach was crying for food. Eventually a little kid walked up to Jesus with five loaves of bread and two small fish. He gave the food over to Jesus, which I thought was nice. It did not solve the problem at all in my mind, but at least the kid gave me a little hope that people are not as completely beyond hope as I had thought.

Listen to me ramble about how the kid was no help. It turns out that those five loaves and two fish were all Jesus needed. The man raised me from the dead, and yet I did not ever think that what he did with that bread and those fish would happen. Jesus never looked nervous at all about the people wanting food. He just put the food in baskets and started handing the baskets around. Imagine my surprise when a basket arrived at me after a few hundred people had the basket before. Not only did the basket still have food in it, it looked as though it actually had even more food than there had been to start. I grabbed a loaf, passed the basket, turned my head, and when I turned back there was even more. After all of that, when everyone had been fed, there were still a few baskets that were filled with food. There must have been a few thousand people that Jesus fed today with only five loaves of bread and two fish. What will Jesus do next?
