Mark 5- Dead Guy

It was a rainy day today, and I was soaked all the way through. My insides were drenched and I was cold. I was on a boat following Jesus and I nearly died (again) because of the storm. I know Jesus can do some great things, but I do have to question him a little bit for deciding to travel to the other side of the sea in weather like today’s. Anyway, as if the storm and my frozen body were not bad enough, when we got across the sea, there was a naked guy that came running at the boats yelling, “Aurgh aurgh aurgh!” He came from the tombs. I am not too sure I want to know what a crazy, naked man was doing in the place of the dead. To be more accurate, the man was not completely naked. He did where some chains. I think I understand why my mother never wanted me to travel to this side of the sea. The people are a bit different. Back to the naked guy. He stopped halfway to the boats and picked up the rock. He then started to cut himself and sing an interesting tune, “Aurgh aurgh aurgh, aurgh aurgh aurgh, aurghy aurghy aurgh aurgh aurgh.” It was actually a really nice design that the man was carving if you could forget for a moment that it was being drawn on human flesh. Jesus walked over to the man.

The man seemed to recognize Jesus, because he ran to him and bowed before him and asked, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?” Jesus looked at the man and commanded, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” Then he asked his name. The man replied that his name was Legion, but the next part was weird, he said, “For we are many.” I understood in just a moment that the man was demon possessed and that it was multiple demons inside of him that were talking out of his mouth. Jesus sent the demons out into a herd of pigs nearby and they went crazy. Then the man looked at Jesus and begged him to let him stay with Jesus, but Jesus denied him and told him to go and to tell all of his friends what the Lord had done for him and the mercy God had on him. Later I saw him doing just that.
