Mark 5

Hello this is Malachi again. About a month ago I had written letters to tell of something I witnessed with a man named Jesus. I do not know if anyone received it or if anyone is reading this now, but what I saw was amazing and felt that I needed to do it. I am writing again because I have once again witnessed something amazing.

When I saw the events that happened last month I was absolutely taken back and it seemed to amazing to believe, in fact I had my doubts. I asked around about who this man was and there were many conflicting reports. I needed to do some investigation of my own. For weeks, I tried to find him again when one day I finally caught a rumor that he would be at the Sea of Galilee.  I travelled to this land because I had to absolutely see him again and try to witness another miracle. When I got there a huge crowd was there on a mountainside. There seemed to be thousands of me there and I couldn’t even see Jesus. However I started to hear talk in the crowd. It was close to the Passover Festival and all the men had gathered to receive and partake of bread. People became quite confused , including myself who knew that to but this amount of bread for all these people would take over a half-year’s wage for each to have just one bite. Still I stayed to see what would happen. Suddenly I heard someone yell out “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish!” there was a murmur in the crowd. Everyone knew that this was obviously not enough to feed in a tiny portion of the crowd. Many began to grumble and began to get up and start to leave. I myself contemplated it and was disappointed with what I had encountered. As the crowd started to move out, Jesus called out to one of his followers “Have the people sit down.” All did. He then began to give thanks and handed out the bread and fish. Some laughed in the crowd at the fact that it seemed that this man wanted to feed a crowd of five thousand with five loaves and 2 fish. But that’s what he did. I tell you that there was not one man who did not have his fill and there were baskets upon baskets left over after all were done! Another miracle! Before my eyes. Truly this man is an incredible person. I have decided to follow him and see what else he does and teaches. I will continue to send these letters out. I do not know if I will encounter him again as he fled when the crowd began to smother him, some yelling for him to be king. Nonetheless I will seek him out, I must know who exactly this man is. Who is this Jesus of Nazareth?
